We are looking for a diverse group of people from all backgrounds to attend an assessment centre near you and best of all no previous experienced is necessary to be considered for these roles!

Since 2010, One Key has been matching top candidates with host employers throughout the Mining and Resources sectors, and it is through those trusted relationships we are able to deliver this exciting campaign.

About the opportunity

One Key Resources are holding assessment centres in QLD, NSW & WA where candidates will meet with some of Australia’s largest Mining Companies to vie for coveted apprenticeship positions within their organisation.

Assessment centres will give candidates an opportunity to meet and interview with hiring managers face to face and interact with other candidates in a group setting.

Apprenticeships available include:

  • Certificate III in Engineering Fixed & Mobile Plant – Diesel Fitter/Mechanical Fitter
  • Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication – Boilermaker/Welder

Assessment centres will commence in February in the following locations:

Each candidate invited to an assessment centre will be required to complete an online psychometric assessment prior to the session and will participate in group activities and a panel interview on the assessment day. Candidates progressing to the next round will be required to complete health assessments and provide references from recent employers.

About you

Apprenticeships are highly competitive and draw applicants with a wide variety of skills and experience. Those who will stand out in the crowd will be safety focused, demonstrate a willingness to learn and work well as part of a team.

Candidates who have prior experience working around heavy machinery and shift work will be highly regarded; but attitude, commitment and participation in the process is what will get the successful candidates over the line.
