About the Role:
We’re seeking experienced Industrial/Commercial Spray Painters and Abrasive Blasters to join our maintenance team, working across various industrial sites throughout Southeast Brisbane, including Yatala and the Port of Brisbane. This role involves high-quality spray painting and abrasive blasting of tanks, vessels, and steel structures, often in confined spaces. It’s a challenging and rewarding position suited to individuals with a strong safety-first mindset and a commitment to teamwork. This is strictly industrial work, not residential, and our clients expect top-tier workmanship, reflected in the competitive pay rates offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out abrasive blasting (sandblasting/shot blasting) on tanks, vessels, and steel infrastructure, including confined space work.
- Operate and maintain industrial spray painting and blasting equipment.
- Deliver work to high safety and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade-qualified Blaster/Painter with minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Skilled in industrial spray painting and blasting, including polyurea application.
- Proficient in sandblasting and heavy shot blasting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail in spray painting and surface finishing.
- Immediate availability.
- Reliable transport and a current driver’s licence.
- Valid Confined Space, White Card, and Yellow Card (EWP).
- Forklift licence highly regarded.
